20 September, Northumbria University 1030 - 1600
The next event for the IESBL's Commission looks at disciplinary contexts for experiential learning. The disciplinary space will look to advance thinking in experiential learning as a driver of active engagement with subject knowledge, and the potentials of trans- and interdisciplinary working.
Northumbria University, IESBL and Group GTI will be hosting a free one day event on 20 September at the university's Newcastle campus. We will hear speakers from different disciplines discuss their approaches to experiential learning.  We will explore case studies including: simulation; live projects; REF impact case studies;  interdisciplinary projects; placements and more.  Participants will look to identify common themes and differences in practical application. We are also developing tools for participants to take away and adapt for their students.Â
The event will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Registrations will open over the next couple of weeks.Â
Hi Shantha, I have registered for the event tomorrow at Northumbria Uni and have no information. Please can you get in touch. Kind regards, Fiona, University of Glasgow
Apologies but I could not find a contact email anywhere else to share a question. I'm interested in attending this event on the 20th September but the registrations are now closed. I registered my interest but just wanted to confirm whether there is any possibility for me to still attend at such late notice? Thanks a lot!
