On 11 June, Northeastern University London are hosting a festival of experiential learning. Drawing on their expertise crafted in the US and more recently in London, they’re hosting a celebration of innovative practices, research, and insights on experiential learning in higher education.
This one-day free event will focus on pedagogy and practical applications that enhance student engagement and real-world readiness. The festival starts with a keynote from Professor Colin Beard is an Emeritus Professor of Experiential Learning at Sheffield Hallam University.
Festival goers will be able to choose from sessions exploring innovative practices, research, and applied projects, from Northeastern University London, University of Westminster, London South Bank University, Bath Spa University, University of Leeds, University of Bristol, University of Bath, and more, on topics including:
Global Experience: Embedding international and cross-cultural perspectives
Impactful Assessment: Evaluating learning that makes a difference
Interdisciplinary Learning: Creating rich, integrated learning experiences
Partner-Engaged Learning: Working with industry, community, and professional partners for real-world impact
